A man is under investigation for suspected manslaughter after a woman died days after being taken to hospital.
Karina Skorupa, 54, from Birkenhead, was admitted to hospital with an arm injury on Saturday, November 26, 2022. She died four days later on November 30.
Police were notified, and a 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of her manslaughter.

Two other men, aged 65 and 41, were arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and assisting an offender.
All three men have been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries, a Merseyside police spokesman said, adding that the family of Ms Skorupa was being supported by specialist officers while the investigation is ongoing.
