Three men arrested after suspected road rage shooting in Salford released under investigation

Three men arrested following a suspected road rage shooting in Salford have been released under investigation, police have said.

The suspects were held on suspicion of attempted murder yesterday (Thursday).

It came following an incident on November 17 in Lower Kersal.

A 38-year-old man turned up at hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand at around 7.20pm.

He was discharged the next day.

Greater Manchester Police said that following an altercation between two drivers, one got out of his vehicle, levelled a shotgun at the other and fired.

Detectives has confirmed the incident 'is understood to have occurred after a dispute between two vehicles'.

In a statement issued today (Friday), the force said three men - aged 28, 33 and 35 - have been released under investigation.
