Three men arrested after police swoop on flats in Cranhill

Three men were arrested in Glasgow this morning after police locked down a block of flats.

Dozens of officers were spotted in attendance at Longstone Place, Cranhill at around 11am.

Police confirmed three men had been arrested following an intelligence led operation.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "On Saturday, 4th of January, 2020, officers attended a block of flats on Longstone Place, Cranhill.

"Three men were arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation.

"The investigation was an intelligence led operation."
