A village has been left heartbroken after a popular couple who ran a newsagents both died from coronavirus.
Keith and Jean MacVicar, 84 and 82, both passed away a fortnight ago and last weekend, the devastating illness also claimed the life of their daughter Jayne.
Those who knew the family, who lived in Branston, have now spoken about how big a part of the community they were, Derbyshire Live reports.
Fred Smith, vice-chairman of Branston Parish Council, revealed how Mr and Mrs MacVicar took over the family-run Snowden's Newsagents in Main Street from Mr MacVicar's mother, "Mrs Snowden".

He said the family, who were also well-known for their charity fundraising efforts, had "a lot of history" in the village and described their loss as "tragic".
"Jean in particular supported a lot of good causes," Cllr Smith said.
"When we were raising money to build what was then the new village hall, she was one of the major workers for fund-raising and stuff like that.
"When the church was extended, she was there again.

"She'd help any good cause and would always be there. Keith was always working in the background with her.
"They were a lovely family and it was tragic about Jayne as well - she worked for the police as a crime analyst at one point and then I think she went into nursing. It's a tragedy.
"As a parish council, with permission from the family, we're going to do a tribute to them as I think they deserve it.
"I've told the family to take their time and have a family conference about what they'd like to see and how they'd like to proceed.
"I'm hoping for a lasting tribute as people like that should never be forgotten.

"I was the town mayor between 1988 and 1989 and, unbeknown to me, Jean had held two coffee mornings for the mayor's funds.
"They've done a lot of good in the village in their time."
The couple, who had five children, sold their shop to St Modwen Homes after they retired to be used as part of a new housing estate.
Another parish councillor, Pat Palmer, says she grew up with the family and has many fond memories of the newsagents they ran.
"Jean did a lot of fund-raising for a lot of people. She'll be sadly missed - I've known them all my life," she says.
"To hear their daughter has gone as well is unbelievable.
"We all grew up together and went to the same school, but as you get older, get married and move, out you lose track.
"I was shocked to find out about Jayne - it's very sad. To lose three members of one family, I can't imagine it - it's heart-breaking.
"I'm 72 and they've been around all my life.
"I remember when my dad got paid on a Friday - he always called at Snowden's to pick up a packet of cigarettes, a box of Milk Tray for mum and four packets of Spangles for the children.
"It was a treat. They were always four different Spangles (packets of sweets), with one old-fashioned English one, and we'd argue over who was going to have it."
Cllr Palmer said Mrs MacVicar's fund-raising was for those who needed it at the time and she held garden parties, as well as helping with the bingo and tombolas at Branston Village Hall.
She said: "She was brilliant at the tombola. I don't know how much she raised over the years, but it's got to be a lot of money."
