'Three match ban!' - Arsenal fans spotted what Kasper Schmeichel did to Tierney and Lacazette

Arsenal got back to winning ways in the Premier League on Sunday, seeing off Leicester City 3-1 at the King Power Stadium.

It was an excellent result against a side who could have gone back into second place in the table with victory.

The Gunners got off to the worst possible start, conceding in the seventh minute to Youri Tielemans.

But they roared back before half-time, with David Luiz and an Alexandre Lacazette penalty putting them in front, before Nicolas Pepe secured the win eight minutes after the break.

Mikel Arteta's verdict on Arsenal win

It was an impressive performance from Mikel Arteta's side, particularly after an energy-sapping win over Benfica in the Europa League on Thursday night.

There were a number of moments for discussion during the game and a new one has emerged, concerning the goal Lacazette scored from the penalty spot.

The French striker sent Foxes keeper Kasper Schmeichel the wrong way to net the Gunners' second goal of the game.

But as Lacazette went off to celebrate with team-mates Willian and Kieran Tierney, the ball appeared to be kicked in his direction, from Schmeichel, obviously unhappy to see his team go behind.

Tierney was not impressed and with referee Paul Tierney right there, the full-back put his arm out in the direction of Schmeichel to ask the referee if he ought to punish the Danish keeper for petulance.

Arsenal fan COYG89 on the Reddit page posted the video of the incident saying: "KT's reaction to Schmeichel booting the ball towards them made me chuckle."

User dusseldorf69 responded: "Masterclass from my captain," while Paellardyce said: "Straight red, 3 match ban."

Coachhawley said: "I was really surprised that wasn't talked about or looked at. I thought it was pretty obvious he was kicking it towards Laca celebrating but maybe I was reading too much into it."

A number of other fans suggested Schmeichel should have received a yellow card and that if it was an Arsenal player it would almost certainly have been a booking.
