Three Liverpool restaurants serving the best pizza around

There’s no doubt that Liverpool has some of the best restaurants around, serving everything from steak and burgers to pizza and pasta.

Among those restaurants are three named the best in Liverpool for their pizza.

Three Best Rated , which rates businesses using a 50-point inspection including reviews, reputation, satisfaction, cost and more, has named its top Liverpool pizzerias.

Coming out on top are Crust, Maluco and Tribeca.

Each venue was awarded five stars and given a brief review from UK Three Best Rated.

On Crust, which has restaurants on Bold Street and in Woolton, it said: “Crust Pizza is an award-winning pizza, all served up fresh from their wood-fired oven, topped with the freshest ingredients from trusted Italian suppliers.

“If you want a quick office lunch, a cosy night in or a big dinner with friends, Crust Pizza will offer for those needs. Try the starters, bruschetta, pasta, salad, grill, sides, drinks and desserts with their pizza.”

Crust recently reopened its doors on Bold Street for collection weeks after closing due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Maluco on Castle Street is described as serving pizzas with “Brazilian flare mixed with some old authentic Italian tradition”.

Three Best Rated wrote: “All their pizzas are cooked in the wood-fired handmade oven and those are 18 inches which is made completely from scratch by their experienced and talented pizzaiolos.

“They aim for soft but sturdy pizza dough, mixing old traditions with modern techniques. Their pizzas are both sweet and savoury so anyone can sample their homemade dessert pizzas.”

Tribeca, on Smithdown Road , is praised for always serving fresh pizzas.

Three Best Rated said: “Their dough is made on-site fresh every day and contains 5 healthy ingredients.”

Maluco and Tribeca remain closed due to coronavirus.
