It has been an incredibly disappointing season for all those connected with Liverpool, with the Reds seeing their Premier League title defence implode.
While they are still on course to qualify for next season’s Champions League, Jurgen Klopp will not be happy with how the campaign has panned out.
The German’s squad has been hit by injuries to several key players, with midfielders forced to play in defence at points.
That means a squad rebuild is on the way, meaning some of the club’s fringe players will be on their way out of the club.

Gini Wijnaldum
Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has been a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s incredibly successful teams over recent seasons.
The Dutchman has made more than 150 appearances since joining from Newcastle, winning the Champions League and Premier League.
But his spell at Anfield is set to come to an end this summer, with his contract expriring at the end of this season.
The 30-year-old is unlikely to sign an extension to his deal, though Klopp did select him to start against Palace .
Rhys Williams
The youngster has broken into Liverpool’s team thanks to the horrendous injury crisis that has hit the Reds’ senior centre-backs.
Williams has formed an impressive partnership with fellow academy product Nat Phillips in recent weeks and once again started today.
But there remain question marks over whether he can be a long-term option for a club chasing Premier League titles, with a loan spell likely next season.
With Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez returning from the treatment table, it is unlikely that Williams will be in the senior squad next term.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
It is hard not to feel sorry for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who saw his time at Liverpool wrecked by major injuries.
He played an important role as a squad player in the Reds’ title win last season, but he has seen his playing time severely diminished this term.
With Klopp seeking to rebuild his team this summer, Oxlade-Chamberlain remains one of the club’s most sellable assets and he will likely be bidding farewell.
