The three best pubs in Liverpool have been named.
UK Three Best Rated, which rates businesses using a 50-point inspection including reviews, reputation, satisfaction, cost and more, has named its top Liverpool pubs for 2019.
Coming out on top are the Philharmonic Dining Rooms, The Cavern Pub and O’Neills Liverpool.
Each pub was awarded five stars and given a brief review from UK Three Best Rated.
On the Philharmonic Dining Rooms, it said: "Victorian pub with panelling of wood, rich tiling, sofas of leather, stained glass and chandeliers.
"Their skilled chefs create simple twists on the dishes you know and love to bring you interesting new flavours, using only the best ingredients."
The pub has received a series of five star reviews on TripAdvisor, with one person claiming it to be "a classic pub that must be visited as part of any trip to the city".
The Cavern Pub is described as a "relaxed chain pub with big-screen sport, live music and Irish-influenced food and drink menus.
"At the Cavern Pub, they present the very best musicians from Liverpool’s vibrant and legendary live music scene. Bar adorned with retro pop memorabilia, featuring open, live bands from Thursday through Sunday nights."
The Carvern Pub also regularly receives glowing reviews naming it a "wonderful venue" with "great food, drink and music".
O’Neills on Hanover Street is described as a "relaxed chain pub with big-screen sport, live music and Irish-influenced food and drink menus".
The pub is rated four stars on TripAdvisor and is considered a "great pub" by many five-star reviewers.
UK Three Best Rated is updated regularly with top businesses including restaurants, salons, shops and more.
