Three Legs pub in Leeds city centre suddenly closes with reports of big refurb

A popular Leeds city centre pub is closed for what some might say is a long-overdue refurbishment.

The Three Legs on the Headrow is well-known to almost everybody in Leeds.

Even if you have never set foot inside you will have no doubt heard the karaoke blaring out from inside at all times of the day.

But people were left worried when the pub shut its doors this week.

A sign was put up at the entrance warning about construction safety concerns.

It has now been revealed the pub is undergoing a refurbishment and will be back open late next week.

Regular Stacie-Leigh Bell said: "My auntie went in just before it closed and said it's been refurbished.

"I love a good mucky pub but hopefully, it won’t be mucky anymore.

"Plus, I love a good sing-song in there on an afternoon, even if I can't sing."

The Three Legs is believed to be scheduled to reopen in around one week's time, on Friday, February 11.
