Three Leeds United starting XIs Marcelo Bielsa could opt for against QPR as fresh injuries strike

Leeds United are back in action on Saturday when they host Queens Park Rangers at Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa's side sit third in a very congested Championship table and could finish the weekend top of the pile if results go their way.

If they are to get past the Hoops, they may need to do it

Bielsa revealed that Patrick Bamford and Gjanni Alioski are the latest players to be added to the injury list with the duo doubts for Saturday's match, while the likes of Barry Douglas and Adam Forshaw still both out.

Pablo Hernandez is fit again to bolster the Whites' mis-firing attack, but how should Bielsa's side be lining up this weekend?

We've drawn up three potential Leeds United XIs, based on the assumption that Bamford and Alioski will miss out and you can select your side to face QPR below.

Minimal changes

Our first option sees a few reshuffles in the side, but favours consistancy. Gaetano Berardi is the man to shift over to left-back, with skipper Liam Cooper coming back into the XI.

Putting Hernandez back in the side is an easy call, while Eddie Nketiah is the clear candidate to replace Bamford up front and we've also put Jamie Shackleton back in following his recent injury.

Davis in

A similar XI to the one above, but with Leif Davis getting the call at left-back. The youngster is perhaps more suited to the demands that Bielsa puts on his full-backs and has been putting in some excellent displays in the under-23s in recent weeks.

A more attacking option

Should Bielsa be looking for a bit more firepower against a side that has not kept a clean sheet all season, there are a few tweaks he could make. Stuart Dallas is another option at left-back, while we've also subbed in Tyler Roberts in the number 10 role in place of Mateusz Klich.

Again, Hernandez, Shackleton and Nketiah are included.

Select your XI

We'll reveal your most-picked XI before Saturday's match.
