Three teenagers have been arrested following an overnight cross-border incident that drew attention from both gardai and the PSNI.
Gardai were made aware that a tractor had been stolen in Co Monaghan in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
They made a report to the PSNI who were then alerted after 3.30am that the tractor had been driven across the border.
The vehicle was involved in "several hit-and-run collisions", the PSNI believe.
It ended up in Co Armagh and officers then detained three men on the Tivnacree Road.
Three teenage boys, aged 16, 18 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink and drugs, as well as dangerous driving.
The PSNI said in a statement: "Police have arrested three makes following a cross-border incident in the early hours of today, Tuesday 14 December.
