LUDHIANA: The police arrested three men after arms and ammunition were recovered from them in Khanna on Tuesday night. The accused are Maninder Singh Manga, Dildeep Singh Deepi and Amritpal Singh, all of Khanna.
Khanna SSP J Elanchezhian said, “A car was stopped near Bulepur village. Police recovered from its occupants four .32 bore pistols along with four magazines, 15 live cartridges and one empty cartridge of .32 bore and one car, apart from the one they were travelling in.”
Police said, “During initial investigation, it came to the fore that Dalvir Singh Sona of Bulepur had arranged the illegal weapons from Iqbalpreet Singh Preet of Bhuchi village in Bassi Pathana. Dalvir and Iqbalpreet have been nominated in the case.”
