Super League has revealed the fixtures for its first Rivals Round, with Wigan versus St Helens and Leeds' West Yorkshire derby with Huddersfield among the matches included.
The round, which will pit some of the competition's biggest rivals against one another, will take place later this month between August 19 and 22. Arguably the headline fixture is a mouthwatering Grand Final rematch between Wigan and the reigning Super League champions, which will take place at the DW Stadium on Friday 20 August.
The round kicks off on Thursday 19 August when Warrington host Catalans, as well as the Rhinos' clash with Ian Watson's Giants at Emerald Headingley. On Saturday, the Hull derby will take place at the MKM Stadium as FC take on Rovers with a 3pm kick-off, before Castleford host near rivals Wakefield Trinity at 7pm that evening.
Rivals Round concludes on Sunday afternoon, as Leigh Centurions take on Salford Red Devils at the Leigh Sports Village. Both the Wigan-Saints derby and the Hull derby will be televised live on Sky Sports.
