Three fires at a historic cathedral in Nantes were an act of arson, French prosecutors believe.
The blaze, which started in the early hours of Saturday morning, destroyed stained glass windows and the grand organ at the Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul cathedral.
The fires at the 15th century cathedral started on site and an arson investigation is now underway.
It comes just a year on from the devastated blaze at the Notre-Dame in Paris.

Fire chief Laurent Ferlay said: "The damage is concentrated on the organ, which appears to be completely destroyed.
“The platform it is situated on is very unstable and risks collapsing.”

But thankfully, the fire was contained and the cathedral’s roof wasn’t damaged.
