Three people have been killed in a horror two-vehicle crash in central NSW.
The head-on collision on the Mid Western Highway near Cowra occurred about 4pm on Thursday, police said.
"Two people travelling in one vehicle, and one person in another vehicle, died at the scene," a statement read.
Crash investigators attended the scene and traffic was disrupted for hours after the crash.
Emergency services reported that the collision happened 35km from Cowra near the centre of Woodstock.
