Three children missing overnight leads to major police search

A major police search was sparked on Tuesday night after three young children went missing.

The two girls and one boy were all aged between eight and 12 and went missing on a night when large parts of Wales saw thunderstorms and heavy rain.

Kiya Williams, 12, Lewis Owen-Roberts, nine, and eight-year-old Lilly-Mae Owen-Roberts were believed to be in each other's company.

A police helicopter was out looking for the three children, who went missing from Rhôs-on-Sea, Conwy.

On Wednesday morning at around 8.20am, police wrote on Twitter that the children had been found safe and well.
