Three charged in Niles home burglary

The men are due in court July 8.

Three men were arrested within minutes of a reported home burglary in north suburban Niles.

Officers responded to a residential burglary about 9:55 p.m. June 14 in the 7900 block of Oketo Avenue, Niles police said. The homeowner said his family was away for about four hours and came back to it ransacked.

Multiple items were taken including $3,000 in jewelry, a laptop and $700 in cash, police said.

About 10:30 p.m. the same day, officers pulled over a vehicle in Glenview and found the three suspects with the stolen items, police said.

Aco Ivanov, 47 and Duro Ivanov, 50, each face felony charges of residential burglary and possession of burglary tools, police said. Ali Moro, 18, faces a misdemeanor charge of theft.

They are scheduled to appear in court July 8.
