Three charged after Melbourne pursuit

Three teenagers have been charged after a police pursuit through Melbourne's suburbs. (AAP)

Three teenage boys have been charged after Thursday's police pursuit of an alleged stolen vehicle through Melbourne suburbs.

Two police officers suffered minor injuries when the boys were arrested on the Western Ring Rd, while five police cars were damaged during the pursuit.

One 15-year-old faces several driving offences, including intentionally exposing an emergency services worker to risk, as well as theft of a motor car.

The other 15-year-old and a 13-year-old have been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and offences against the bail act.

The three teenagers will face a children's court on Friday.
