Three cars have crashed on the M53 in Wallasey.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the three car crash on the M53 at Wallasey at 4.55pm on Tuesday, July 13.
Merseyside Police attended the scene and closed a section of the A59 Westbound from A5027 Gorsey Lane to M53 junction one.
The road was closed at 5.55pm by officers and traffic is queued back from the Dock Road roundabout to Birkenhead North train station.

Vehicles have since been recovered, with the road expected to reopen shortly, according to police.
Police have said nobody is believed to be seriously injured.
