A THREE-car crash has closed the northbound lanes of Stockton bridge, Live Traffic NSW says.
The accident occurred on Nelson Bay Road on the Kooragang Island side of the bridge just after 1pm and emergency services are on site.
LiveTraffic NSW advised around 2.20pm that both northbound lanes had re-opened, but traffic was heavy around the scene of the crash. Drivers have been advised to allow extra time and to travel cautiously.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said one patient may be suffering a medical episode but there did not appear to be any injuries.
