Three Arsenal players named among world's most valuable teenagers along with Man United striker

Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba and Bukayo Saka have been included on a list of the world's most valuable players aged 19 or under.

The Arsenal teenagers are all listed in Transfermarkt's top five, alongside Manchester United's Mason Greenwood, and Real Madrid winger Rodrygo, who tops the list with an estimated market value of €45million.

Other notable names on the table include Watford's Joao Pedro, who moved to Vicarage Road in January 2020 from Fluminense, and AZ Alkmaar striker Myron Boadu; who has previously been linked with Arsenal.

Out of Arsenal's trio of youngsters, Martinelli is listed highest at third, with a value of €25million. The Brazilian forward has enjoyed an excellent debut season in England since his move from Ituano last summer, netting double figure goals and establishing himself as a regular in the first team set up.

Academy graduate Saka has also made a similar impact at the Emirates this campaign, after deputising to excellent effect at left-back and earning rave reviews for his performances.

The Gunners will be desperate to tie the youngster to a new deal, with his contract in north London expiring at the end of next season.

Saliba is also included, with the highly-rated French centre-back set to return to Arsenal at the end of the season from his loan spell at Saint-Etienne.

Former Gunners striker Kevin Campbell has predicted that Saliba will go "straight into" Mikel Arteta's starting eleven next season.

Campbell told The Chronicles of a Gooner podcast: "We made a very astute signing last year which many gave the club stick for: Saliba.

"At least we’ve got a centre half, a big, strong, quick, centre half who is going to go straight into that side. He has to.

"Do we need another one? Yes we probably do.

"Will we get one? Who knows?

"If we can get Saliba in and bed him in nicely then at least the defence is a lot younger and is a lot stronger."
