Four people have been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a man in south London.

Tesfa Campbell, 40, was killed in Battersea on Wednesday afternoon, prompting a murder investigation to be launched.

Scotland Yard said a 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday while two women aged 23 and 26 were also being held on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Police latter added that a 35-year-old man was arrested on Sunday evening on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Mr Campbell, of Croydon, was found with stab injuries in Latchmere Road at 2.45pm.

He died later in hospital and a post-mortem examination found his death was caused by a single stab wound to the abdomen.

His family are being supported by officers from the Met's murder squad and police are still appealing for information about the attack.
