Two men and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection to a flat fire that killed a six-month-old baby girl, her 17-year-old mother and a friend.

A 17-year-old from Long Eaton, and a 21-year-old and 43-year-old from Sandiacre were arrested on Monday night on suspicion of murder, Derbyshire police said. All three remain in custody on Tuesday and are being questioned.
Police officers are working with Derbyshire fire and rescue service to find out the cause of the fire, which is still unknown at this stage, the force said.
Ast Ch Con Martyn Bates said: “The cause of the fire is still unknown and the possibility that it was started deliberately is just one of many lines of inquiry we are pursuing at this time.
“These arrests do not mark the end of the investigation, far from it. I would still urge anyone with information to come forward and speak to us.”
Police were called to flats in North Street at 4.04am on Sunday following reports of a fire.
One fire appliance was sent to the property after Derbyshire fire and rescue service was initially called at 4am to a car fire in North Street. A further three appliances were mobilised following a call two minutes later reporting the house fire.
Two men, aged 18 and 17, who were also inside the premises at the time, were rescued by neighbours and treated for smoke inhalation.
