Three arrested in West Belfast after police stop vehicle linked to burglary

Three men are being questioned about a burglary after police in West Belfast stopped a vehicle.

Officers were called to a burglary near Oldpark Road in the city on Sunday (August 22).

A number of items, including a vehicle, were stolen in the raid, police said.

The stolen vehicle was later stopped near the Bell Steel Road in Dunmurry, Police West Belfast said on Twitter on Sunday night.

The tweet added: "Three males were arrested and are now assisting police."

People are reminded to dial 999 in an emergency, or otherwise contact the Police Service of Northern Ireland via the 101 non-emergency number.
