Police launched a series of raids against an organised criminal gang linked to car thefts across Renfrewshire.
Cops swooped on seven addresses in Paisley, Johnstone, Renfrew, Ayrshire, and Glasgow this morning as part of a major crackdown.
The operation was the culmination of a three month long investigation targeting suspected hoods in the West of Scotland.

Lead by Renfrewshire’s Serious and Organised Crime Team, officers seized evidence linked to potential criminality.
They launched a series of co-ordinated raids across the region at around 8am this morning.
Detectives leading the probe revealed three men aged 34, 37, and 38, have been arrested and charged with alleged car thefts and serious and organised crime offences.
They are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Detective Inspector Robert Bowie from Renfrewshire’s Serious and Organised Crime team, appealed to anyone with information linked to criminality in their community to come forward.
He said: “Detective Inspector Robert Bowie said: “This operation highlights our commitment to tackling serious and organised crime.
“We will continue to use our resources, targeting those involved in any criminal activity which impacts the lives of our local communities.
“Anyone with concerns regarding criminality in their area can contact police and be assured that officers will act on the information and arrest whoever is involved.”
