Two men and a woman have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation by the National Human Trafficking Unit.
Specialist officers executed search warrants at two addresses on Dalriada Crescent and Jerviston Court, Motherwell, yesterday.
Police Scotland said two men, aged 50 and 37, and a 25-year-old woman have been charged in connection with human trafficking offences.
They were due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on the day of their arrest and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
