Three arrested after men seen 'acting suspiciously' at Partick building site

Police made three arrests after men were seen 'acting suspiciously' at a building site in Partick in the early hours of this morning.

Officers were called out to Laurel Street, off Crow Road in the west end of Glasgow, at around 1.15am.

Video footage shared online appears shows four separate police vehicles at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed to Glasgow Live: "Around 1.15 am this morning, Monday 4 May, police attended at Laurel Street, Glasgow following a report of men acting suspiciously within the building site in Laurel Street, Glasgow.

"Three men were arrested in connection with an alleged Section 57 of the Civic Government (scotland) Act 1982.

"A report will be sent to the PF in due course."
