'Three arrested' after dramatic crash in Leigh

Three men have been arrested following a dramatic crash in Leigh, according to unconfirmed reports from the town.

Images on social media show a Range Rover 4X4 sandwiched between a tree and the garden wall of a house on The Avenue.

A post on the Atherton car crime, Thefts & Burglaries Facebook Page shows the wreckage of the vehicle and police officers attending the scene.

It read: "3 males in a range rover on The Avenue in leigh this afternoon, arrests made well done GMP."

There are no reports of any injuries. One responder to the Facebook post said: "Glad there was no-one on the path".

The Manchester Evening News has contacted Greater Manchester Police over the incident.
