Three arrested after 'class A drugs' discovered in dawn raids on Bolton estate

Police have arrested three people following dawn raids at two properties in Bolton.

Officers targeted homes in Sefton Court and Spinners Mews, in Halliwell, during the early hours of Thursday morning.

They discovered what is believed to be class A drugs and arrested the trio on suspicion of intent to supply the substances.

The group included two men, aged 34 and 47, and a woman, aged 49.

Police say they will remain in custody for questioning.

In a statement posted on Facebook yesterday, a spokesman for GMP's Bolton North team said: "Three people have been arrested following warrants in #Halliwell.

"A 34-year-old female, 47-year-old male and 49-year-old male were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

"They all remain in police custody for questioning."

The officer also called for anyone with further information about drugs offences to get in touch with the police or Crimestoppers.
