Three arrested after cannabis farm uncovered in Prestwich

Three people have been arrested after police uncovered a suspected cannabis farm.

Officers executed a warrant at a property in Bury Old Road, Prestwich, at 10am on Wednesday.

Dozens of plants were found growing inside.

Three men aged 38, 31 and 29 were arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis.

The 38-year-old man has been bailed while the two other men have been released under investigation.

Anyone with information on the incident should contact police by calling 0161 856 8204 quoting incident number 495 of 22/04/2020.

Alternatively, information can be passed on to the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
