A Threave Rovers coach has been recognised as one of the best in the area.
Shane Little works with the club’s girls sections and has won the SFA South West Region Best Volunteer Coach in the girls/women’s category.
He was invited along to the Scotland under-21s game at St Mirren Park in Paisley last week where he received the award as well as enjoying hospitality.
He said: “I am very grateful that I was nominated and went on to win the award. I have to thank the people who help with the girls football at the club as without their support we would not have the girls at the club learning to enjoy the game all us coaches do.
