Thousands without electricity after EBS faults in Portobello, Mountjoy, and Fairview

It's lights out for thousands in Dublin after ESB faults were recorded in FOUR seperate areas.

Almost 2,000 homes have been affected north and southside tonight as workers rush to get power back on as quick as possible.

Among the places affected are Fairview, Mountjoy, and two areas by Portobello.

ESB apologised to those effected and said they'll have electricity asap.

They said: "We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.

Here's all the places affected and times they're expected to be restored by

Fairview

152 premises affected

Expected to be back by 11pm.

Mountjoy Square (Gloucester Place)

572 premises affected

Expected to be back by 11.30pm

Harolds Corss (fault on Richmond St)

530 premises affected

Expected to be restored by midnight

Harolds Cross (fault on Stamer St)

501 premises affected

Expected to be restored by midnight

Harolds Cross (Leinster Road)

491 premises affected

Expected to be restored at 12.45am
