Thousands urge Just Eat to bring Greggs delivery to Greater Manchester

Thousands of people have requested that Just Eat make Greggs available for delivery in Greater Manchester.

The high-street bakery chain's sausage - and vegan - rolls, various bakes and sweet treats are currently available for delivery to more than one million doorsteps.

But only if you're in London, Newcastle or Glasgow.

Just Eat introduced Gregg's delivery as a trial earlier this month and is available until September 25.

However, if it proves successful, it could be rolled out elsewhere.

And that's where you come in.

The takeaway delivery service have now invited its customers to fill in a form which registers their interesting in having Greggs available for delivery in their own city.

Just Eat has said that it will review the entries before deciding where they will try to bring Greggs to next, although there are no firm plans in place at the moment.

A Just Eat spokespersons said: " We had an amazing reaction from our customers when we first made Greggs delivery available on Just Eat in London, Newcastle and Glasgow, which is why we wanted to invite customers to suggest where we might bring Greggs delivery to next.

"So far, tens of thousands of customers have requested that we bring the service to their local town or city, with thousands coming from the Greater Manchester area."
