Thousands turn out for Saints and Sinners event at Hamilton Racecourse

Thousands of racegoers basked in the summer sunshine at Hamilton Park’s popular annual Saints and Sinners event.

Revellers donned a colourful palette of red and white for the highlight fixture of the season, sponsored by Indigo Unified Communications, with funds being raised on the night for the Saints and Sinners Club of Scotland.

Each year, the club raises money and donates regular grants to small Scottish charities, with the race meeting one of their main fundraising events.

Simply by attending, people are helping to support the worthwhile causes, as a portion of the ticket sales is donated to the charity.

After an evening of quality horse racing, the crowds danced the night away with live music from the UK’s No.1 Authentic Sir Elton John Tribute Act – Elite Elton: The Elton John Experience.

Every year the Saints and Sinners fixture attracts thousands of guests from across the country for an evening of glitz and glamour, with many a celebrity often spotted around the course too.

Traditionally people will don symbolic colours of red and white to indicate whether they are a ‘Saint’ or ‘Sinner’ for the night.
