Thousands wait in online queues for tickets to Kevin Bridges' upcoming Hydro shows

Thousands of Kevin Bridges fans have been stuck in huge online queues as they bid to get their hands on tickets to his upcoming Hydro shows.

The Scots comic announced he will be touring the UK and Ireland next year with his new show Kevin Bridges: The Overdue Catch-Up.

He is playing six dates at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow in September next year as well as one show in Aberdeen on October 1.

Due to the huge demand for tickets, fans have been struggling to get onto the Ticketmaster website to secure theirs and many took to Twitter to vent their frustrations. On Wednesday morning almost 8,000 people were stuck in the queue.

One user wrote: " @TicketmasterUK any chance of sorting your queuing system. Got to the front of the queue for Kevin bridges twice now and not been able to purchase tickets. What a pile of s**t!"

Another said: "Currently 2247th in the queue for Kevin bridges tickets fs"

Someone tweeted: "Tried to get Kevin Bridges tickets and got kicked out the queue. Typical"

Bridges, from Clydebank, last performed at the Hydro in 2018, with all dates completely selling out.

Presale tickets for Kevin Bridges: The Overdue Catch-up went sale today, (Dec 1) with general release scheduled for Friday, December 3.
