Thousands report feeling earthquake in south-west England

Thousands of people in the south-west of England and southern Wales have reported an earthquake hit the region.

The tremor is thought to have struck the area at around 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon.

Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed the quake had been felt in its control room and it was experiencing a high volume of calls in relation to the incident.
