Thousands of Tipperary supporters have descended on Thurles to welcome home their All Ireland hurling champions.
The team are due to arrive at Semple Stadium to a sea of blue and gold at 7pm where they will bring the Liam MacCarthy cup home.
The fans are being warmed up to greet their heroes with music by local bands and comedy duo the Two Johnnies.
Kids as young as three are waiting patiently with their hurls, hoping to get a signature from any member of the senior panel.
Outside the grounds, before 6pm, hundreds of official number plates which are created when a team wins the All Ireland were sold to those planning to keep it as memorabilia.

The plates state the attendance at Croke Park, the final score and the date.
Selling a set of the number plates, Liam Doyle said: “God I must have sold 150 alone myself in an hour or so.
“The kids are saying they are going to put it up in their bedroom.
“I am nearly sold out of hats, scarfs and flags, I didn’t expect so many people to buy.

“But I suppose now they want to have something to remember the incredible day.”
The team are set to be on their way to the stadium after celebrating their 14 point win against Kilkenny in yesterday's final at Croke Park.
