Thousands of Three mobile network users complain about the service being down

Three mobile is down this morning leaving customers without phone signal or access to Internet.

The outage appears to have first occurred overnight with thousands of reports made to Down Dectector.

So far, there has been 8,507 reports with the first being made at 11.28pm last night.

The most reported problems are mobile Internet - 42 per cent, mobile phone - 38 per cent, and no signal - 19 per cent.

Customers have flooded the comments section, with posts still coming in thick and fast.

Some users have warned there's a lack of signal in Manchester, with one commenting: "No connection up here in Manchester since this Morning" while another posted: "No signal in Warrington, Cheshire."

People have also taken to Twitter with comments of frustration.

One person wrote: "Disappointing that @ThreeUK has been down for over 12 hours as of now and still not a single communication from them to acknowledge the problem and say when it will be fixed.

"Can only use phone if connected to Wi-fi. Can’t make or receive calls or texts. No data. Website/app down".

Another user said they had been in touch with customer service: "@ThreeUK @edcurwen Tried ringing 333, get to the right department, silent for a bit then a message says “there’s been a technical problem, try again later” what the hell is going on???"

The official Three UK Twitter account hasn't commented on the problems customers are facing, and neither has its dedicated support account - @ThreeUKSupport.
