Residents have been warned as a large area of north Dublin will be without water today.
Nearly 3,000 households in Swords will be affected due to an issue with a large water pressure release valve.
The following areas will get little to no water supply until 3 pm:
- Rathbeale Road
- Pinewood
- Castleview Avenue, Drive, Court, Green
- Ashton
- Applewood and Applewood village
- Broadmeadows
- Longview
- Meadowbank
- Park Avenue
- Bramley
- Thornleigh
- Glen Ellen Estate and Environs
- Millers Glen
A spokesperson for Fingal Water Services said: "Fingal crews have been on site, however, due to technical difficulties they need to return Friday am to 'find and fix' this PRV pressure problem.
"Consequently a large number of households including circa up to 3,000 households will wake up to small, little, or no water supply on am Friday, August 27, 2021.
They added: "Fingal Water Services regrets this temporary breakdown in water supply and is endeavouring to return supply to normal water conditions as soon as possible."
