Thousands of Scots are expected to join a 'Clap for Nicola Sturgeon ' event to mark the First Minister's 50th birthday.
Organisers are asking people across the country to join the celebration from their doorsteps at 8pm next Sunday, July 19.
They vowed to applaud the SNP leader's handling of the coronavirus crisis with such gusto, Westminster will hear.
Organiser Siobhan McCann posted on Facebook: "Our First Minister has done an exceptional job throughout what's been a strange year so far, to say the least.
"We clapped for our fantastic NHS. We even clapped for Boris at some point (why, I’m not quite sure).
"Let’s give Nicola the 'full regalia' on her 50th birthday, Sunday 19th July at 8pm."
Nearly 4,000 have vowed to take part with another 13,000 expressing an interest on Facebook.
Siobhan added: "Get the pipes and pans oot and cheer once more for oor Nicola! And let’s make sure Westminster hear us!"
The First Minister also revealed her birthday coincides with her 10-year wedding anniversary with SNP chief executive Peter Murrell.
And coming four days after Scotland's tourism and hospitality sectors are set to reopen, she hinted at a short break away for the couple.
She told Capital Scotland: “So my husband – if he’s listening – can take this as a hint that we need to support the tourist industry.
“He needs to support the tourist industry by arranging some kind of small staycation for me.”
