As part of Christmas and New Year celebrations, thousands of people dressed like Santa Claus filled one of the main streets in Madrid, to take part in a 5km charity race amid festive ambiances.
The participants wore the traditional costume of Santa Claus and ran along Madrid's Paseo de la Castellana Avenue, as part of a race aimed at gathering the biggest number of runners wearing Santa suites.
Organizers said that over 7,000 people took part in the race, and that a part of the donations collected will go to Intheos, an organization concerned in helping children suffering from cancer.
The participants spread happiness and Christmas spirit while running to fix their white beards. Many children took part in this race in green costumes.
