A sculpture inspired by artist Idris Khan’s photography collection has been revealed.
The eight-metre 65,000 Photographs can be seen next to One Blackfriars on the South Bank.
Khan said he was honoured to erect the work, inspired by the thousands of pictures he has taken over the past six years, in Southwark.
“I’m delighted I can place something that will invite viewers to reflect on passing time,” he added.
The sculpture was commissioned by Southwark council and St George City as part of the One Blackfriars project.
