Thousands of Home Bargains shoppers 'desperate' to bag £3.49 American snack

Retail giant Home Bargains is never short on treats shoppers didn't know they needed.

The product was first shared on popular Facebook group NewFoodsUK.

The page wrote: "USA Candy Popcorn now available at Home Bargains! We absolutely love this popcorn and we are so glad to see it being sold at Home Bargains."

There are three different flavours available - Twix, Oreo and Snickers.

Each bag of popcorn costs £3.49.

The post quickly went viral, racking up over 1,000 comments and hundreds of likes and shares.

Shoppers flocked to express their excitement.

"Mmmmm I bet these are nice," raved one excited shopper.

Another said: "I feel like life is getting better by the day."

"May have to go to home bargains tonight too," said a third.

A fourth person exclaimed: "We need to go home bargains."

However, not everyone was so keen.

"Much as I love chocolate & popcorn I can’t stand the two flavours together. So it’s a no from me," said one critic.

Another slammed: "Had the snickers one not a fan tasted like stale peanuts."
