Thousands of people have got involved to help an Irishwoman fix an unusual problem in a house that a "two-year-old would build better".
A post in the popular Facebook group 'Make a House a Home' asked for advice on how to avoid "gale-force winds" coming through the letterbox, after the unique stop-gap solution of placing a bag over the hole in the door failed to work.
And the strange issue provoked a huge reaction with over a thousand people volunteering their suggestions.
The unlucky renter wrote: "Can someone please help. I live in a house that's only about 12 years old and I swear to god they are the worst built houses, my two-year-old would build better!
"No back boiler so gas heats the house but the heat never stays and here is one of the reasons!
"Gale-force winds coming through my letterbox plus under the door. I don't mind under the door so much as I can get a draught excluder but can anyone suggest what I can do with the letterbox.
"As you can see I now have a bag taped around it catching the wind!"
One commenter wrote: "Get rid of letterbox and have one of the box ones outside," while another added: "Stick a load of socks in your letterbox or even an old T-shirt."
While one cheeky punter added: "Would you consider selling the bag of wind?"
And the grateful renter ultimately thanked the thousands for their help and devised a plan of action.
She added: "Thanks so much for everyone's advice. I'm gonna get an outdoor postbox. Seal my letterbox shut and get a curtain."
