Thousands flock to Hamilton Comic Con

Comic book fans dusted off their capes, donned lycra suits and headed to Hamilton Town House for the 2019 comic con.

The second annual event was a resounding success, with over 50 traders selling comics, comic art, action figures and jewellery, while attendees were able to have their photograph taken with a Hollywood green screen, and a DeLorean car, made famous in the Back to the Future movies.

This year’s event also featured comic art classes and special guests.

Event organiser, Ian Bonar said: “Our first event at the Town House went down really well last year and we fell in love with the building, which works well for a comic con.

“We were looking to make it even better this time around, and have as many people and businesses involved as possible.”
