Thousands embark on Bosnia peace march to remember Srebrenica victims

This year’s Peace March marks the 22nd time the march has been held since the commemoration of the genocide on 11 July 1995.

Marchers from Bosnia, Herzegovina and abroad came to participate and will have history lessons along the 100 km route with medical aid, food, water and accommodation in camps provided.

The march begins near Nezuk in Tuzla Canton and lasts for three days.

The end destination is the village of Potočari near Srebrenica, the location of the memorial grounds and cemetery for the Srebrenica genocide.
