OAKLAND, Calif. _ The Golden State Warriors coasted to a 122-105 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Friday at Oracle Arena.
The Warriors (45-20) cemented a two-game lead over the Denver Nuggets (43-21) for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference as well as a 2-1 regular-season series lead. The Warriors also improved their home record to 22-11, something they want to improve for their last nine games at Oracle Arena before moving to Chase Center next season.
After missing the past two games with a sore right knee, Klay Thompson had 39 points while going 13-of-22 from the field and 9-of-11 from 3. Thompson scored at least 30 points for the 11th time this season.
Kevin Durant (26 points), Stephen Curry (17) and DeMarcus Cousins (13) also had double figures.
The Warriors led by as many as 22 points.
