Paul Merson believes Thomas Tuchel has a problem on his hands after Kai Havertz's inspired performance on Monday night.
Havertz made a surprise start in the striker position in the 2-0 win over Everton and looked every bit the £72million player Chelsea thought he was, and for the first time since his summer arrival.
The German midfielder forced an own goal and won a penalty for his side, contributing significantly to the win wich saw Chelsea move four points ahead of Everton - who have a game in hand - and to within three points of Leicester City in third.
But such a performance creates headaches for managers, and that is now the case for Tuchel who has a difficult job to pick his starting XI for Saturday's clash with Leeds United.
And there could be a problem for the German head coach when it comes to Havertz, according to Sky Sports pundit Merson, who said in his column: "They were a real handful against Everton, and Kai Havertz epitomised that.
"We finally saw his best on Monday, he was simply outstanding. I didn't realise how quick he was! He was a real handful and the decision to bring him in last night was rewarded.
"When you are winning every week that's what happens.
"The problem he has now is Havertz just had his best game for Chelsea by a million miles, but I'd be surprised if he plays next week. Mason Mount was outstanding against Liverpool but then he didn't play against Everton.
"They look really good."
That problem could be solved by Havertz staying in the striker role and Mount replacing someone deeper in the starting XI, but there is another issue for Chelsea, Merson has suggested.
"The one problem I still see is that they don't score a lot of goals," he added. "For all the game they had against Everton, I thought it was a game where they probably could have blown the opposition away. Some of the passing and some of the movement was outstanding.
"I really like the manager. He looks really good and has made a really impressive start at Stamford Bridge."
