Thomas Tuchel tipped to do what Frank Lampard couldn't ahead of Chelsea vs Man City FA Cup clash

Chelsea can stop Manchester City from winning a quadruple this season.

That is the view of former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jermaine Jenas who has delivered his prediction ahead of Saturday's FA Cup semi-final clash between the two sides.

Despite last weekend's surprise home defeat by Leeds United, Man City are closing in on a third Premier League title win in four seasons and Pep Guardiola has his eyes on three other competitions.

Aside from the FA Cup tie with Chelsea, there's the upcoming Carabao Cup final against Spurs, and a mouth-watering two-legged Champions League semi-final against Mauricio Pochettino's Paris Saint-Germain.

The quadruple is an unprecedented feat in English football and Manchester United legend Gary Neville thinks City won't have a better chance to do it.

"Is the Quadruple credible for City? The league is theirs. You can't say the FA Cup is theirs - but what a chance," Neville said on the Gary Neville Podcast.

"They are good enough; they've got the talent and they've got the squad.

"I don't think City will ever get a better chance."

With that said, Chelsea will end City's hopes of winning all four trophies in one season if they can seal victory at Wembley Stadium

And Jenas is backing them to do so after being impressed by what Thomas Tuchel has done since replacing Frank Lampard as head coach back in January.

Furthermore, Jenas is of the opinion that Tuchel can do what Lampard couldn't do as Chelsea boss - win the FA Cup.

"I didn’t like the sacking of Frank, the way it was done, so I don’t want Chelsea to win it, but I think they might," Jenas said in an interview with heycar.

"Under Thomas Tuchel they’ve found form and I like what he’s done to the side since he came in.

"They are the side bet to Manchester City."
