Tuchel sets Haaland deadline
One of the most prominent names linked to Chelsea throughout the summer has been Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
The Blues have consistently been rumoured to be contenders for his signature, with various reports swirling throughout the gossip columns.
Now, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has intervened by setting an ‘immediate’ deadline for the Norwegian.
Meanwhile, the Blues continue to be linked with a number of alternatives to Haaland including Inter Milan’s Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez and Gerard Moreno of Villarreal.

Emerson agrees Napoli switch
Meanwhile, Chelsea do not seem too far away from confirming another departure from their current squad.
Italian left-back Emerson Palmieri has fallen behind the likes of Ben Chilwell and Marcos Alonso in the Stamford Bridge pecking order and looks set to leave the club in the near future.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia, Napoli have lodged their first bid for the defender, whilst the player himself has already agreed on a switch to the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Thiago Silva suffers Copa America heartbreak
Away from transfers, current Chelsea defender Thiago Silva suffered anguish in the Copa America final yesterday.
Taking on Argentina at the Maracana, Brazil fell to a 1-0 defeat, with Silva’s former Paris Saint-Germain teammate Angel di Maria scoring the winning goal. The Blues centre-back ended up appearing in five of Brazil’s seven matches throughout the tournament.
